The Rev. Dr. Tom and Angie married in 1983. They have four children and a growing number of grandchildren. Both Tom and Angie have been involved in the ministry since their youth. Angie has blessed and encouraged people everywhere they have traveled and lived with her inspirational music and compassionate personality. She has recorded several music CDs that have blessed many listeners. She is a loving mother and grandmother and enjoys connecting with people. Pastor Tom has preached for nearly 40 years across denominational lines and around the world and served as a pastor on four occasions. He is also is a retired Army Master Sergeant, having served much of his twenty-three years of active duty in the Chaplain Corps. He holds degrees in technology, theology, pastoral ministry, divinity, and counseling. Pastor Tom has been involved and labored with various networks and ministries in his last four decades of ministry. He is a recognized ordained minister with both the United Association of Christian Chaplains and Counselors International, and the Evangelical Association of Reformed & Congregational Christian Churches (EA). He serves presently on the National Board of Directors of the EA. With the help of Angie and Hannah, he seeks to serve our Lord as a faithful shepherd to the congregation at Jerusalem Church through caring pastoral ministry. He is recognized here and many places as one who proclaims the truth of Scripture in a simple way that helps others discover a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, and daily experience the Father's love and grace. Prior to their present assignment, Tom and Angie served together in pastoral ministry for eight and a half years at St. Paul's Evangelical Church in historic Marietta, Ohio. Since July 2016, with Angie and Hannah at his side, Pastor Tom has served as lead pastor at Jerusalem Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Pastor Tom has written several books to facilitate the teaching aspect of his ministry.
